The Problem
Green hydrogen is gaining momentum, but widespread adoption is constrained by a fragile component supply chain. Most electrolyser systems depend heavily on imported membranes, gas diffusion layers, electrodes, and other critical components. This leads to high costs, long lead times, and limited flexibility for R&D, pilot projects, and early-stage deployment. As industrial demand accelerates, the absence of a reliable, locally anchored component ecosystem has become a key barrier to scale.
The Solution
HydroMatx addresses this gap by strengthening the component layer of the hydrogen value chain in India. We work with established international technology partners to bring proven materials and components closer to Indian innovators and manufacturers.
